Hyundai Recalls 190,000 Elantras

SEOUL--March 19, 2011: Hyundai Motor Company has recalled 190,000 cars with faulty airbags in the United States.

Hyundai expects to recall 190,000 Elantra passenger cars sold between 2006 and 2008 in the US. The Yonhap news agency is reporting that these Elantras have defective airbag sensors.

The recall is expected to begin next month and recall repairs will be handled at Hyundai dealer service centers.
