SANTA MONICA, CA--March 24, 2011: Outcast Media's PumpTopTV and OnStar today announced a new ad campaign and sweepstakes that, with the touch of the OnStar button, will give the on-the-go consumer a chance to win a 2011 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicle of their choice (excludes the Chevrolet Volt).* The campaign will reach approximately 35 million drivers through PumpTopTV's 11,000 digital displays at gas stations in 41 markets.

Drivers filling up at a PumpTopTV-outfitted gas station will see a 30-second, full sight and sound commercial explaining how they can enter for a chance to win a new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicle.  Participants simply need to press their OnStar button and speak with an advisor to enter or they can visit www.onstar.com for alternative entry options. Anyone with a digital OnStar-equipped GM vehicle can participate in the sweepstakes regardless of whether they are a subscriber or not. There is no obligation to enter.

According to a 2010 survey conducted by Ipsos OTX for Outcast Media, nine out of 10 drivers filling up at gas stations with digital displays value safety and fuel efficiency as the two most important features while 46 percent value technology, such as GM OnStar, when shopping for a car.

"This campaign is the latest example of Outcast providing a major brand with the ability to engage with consumers in new and meaningful ways," said Nathan Gill, Chief Revenue Officer of Outcast. "Drivers who see this ad campaign while filling up at the pump will return to their car to face the safety issues and concerns that dominate our roadways. As a result, we will provide OnStar access to a very captive audience that is highly receptive to messages about protecting themselves and their families while driving."

OnStar is perhaps best known for its Automatic Crash Response feature which, in the event of a collision, uses sensors built into the vehicle to automatically alert an OnStar Advisor. The advisor can then immediately connect into the vehicle to see if help is needed. Even if the occupant is hurt and can't respond, the advisor knows the vehicle's exact location through GPS technology and can direct emergency responders to the scene.

Over the past 15 years, OnStar Advisors have answered 346 million button pushes, responded to more than 160,000 vehicle crashes, unlocked more than 5 million doors remotely, provided 2.6 million subscribers with roadside assistance and routed customers' turn by turn to their destination more than 70 million times.

"Driver safety has always been our top priority and we're excited to share OnStar's invaluable capabilities through this sweepstakes and ad campaign," said Sam Mancuso, Chief Marketing Officer, OnStar.  "PumpTopTV's ability to connect with our immediate target in a contextually relevant venue made them a great partner for this campaign."

Recently, Outcast Media announced a merger with its long-time joint venture partner

PumpTopTV as well as an expansion into the fitness vertical through a merger with Health Club Media Network (HCMN), the largest advertising company in the health club industry.  Together, the combined network creates unprecedented scale by reaching on-the-go consumers in more than 5,000 gas stations and health clubs in 130 U.S. markets.
