Auto-Owners Insurance lands on Fortune 500 List of U.S. Largest Companies Ninth Straight Year

LANSING, MI--May 6, 2011: Auto-Owners Insurance Company, a multi-line property and casualty and life insurer, is ranked number 425 on the annual Fortune 500 list of America's largest corporations. The company also is ranked among the 20 largest Michigan-based companies.

Twenty-two Michigan companies made the list, compared to 18 in 2010. Auto-Owners slotted in at 18th largest among Michigan companies this year.
