Schneider Celebrates the Over Three Million Truck Drivers on Our Roads

GREEN BAY, WI--June 27, 2011: Whether racking up safe miles on the open road or on the racetrack, this summer Schneider National provides access to both paths with the launch of its Do You Have the Drive? online sweepstakes. The Grand Prize winner will score tickets to Talladega Superspeedway for an adrenaline-filled weekend October 22-24, 2011.

"We were looking for a creative way to celebrate the 3.2 million professional truck drivers across the country and the hard work they put in to being safe and successful on the nation's highways," explained Mike Hinz, vice president for Schneider National. "We also wanted to draw attention to the driving opportunities we have available in a fresh, exciting way."

The prize includes two tickets in the Birmingham Tower for Sunday's race, two tickets to Saturday's race, a $1,000 prepaid Visa to cover travel arrangements and other expenses, hotel accommodations for three days and two nights, private round-trip track transportation and more. To access the Do You Have the Drive? sweepstakes, entrants must log on to Schneider Facebook Page between July 1 and August 31, 2011.

The Green Bay, Wis-based truckload provider works with almost 13,000 professional drivers who, like the pros on the racetrack, average hundreds of miles per haul. They also share similar concerns: fuel mileage, tire wear and tear, running safe and smart, and being profitable after a hard day's work.
