WICHITA, KS--June 30, 2011: Revving the green motor oil revolution to full force--Universal Lubricants added two Meineke Car Care Centers of Sioux Falls (Sioux Falls, SD) to its growing client base of ECO ULTRAŽ motor oil users. Produced domestically at the company's advanced re-refinery, ECO ULTRAŽ is an environment-friendly and American Petroleum Institute (API) certified recycled motor oil that meets Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) requirements and current vehicle manufacturers' specifications.

"Consistently impressed with the quality, service and people behind the brand, we've relied on Universal Lubricants XHD products for over a decade at our 41st street location. Now, as we commemorate the grand opening of a second Meineke Car Care Center on 12th street, we also look to build on the lasting, tried and true relationships that have helped build our unmatched reputation in Sioux Falls community," said Doug Olson, sole proprietor of both Meineke Car Care Center branches. "Our reputation stems from an affirmative attitude that our patrons deserve nothing but the best--and that's precisely what ECO ULTRAŽ, a green motor oil that ensures optimal engine performance, offers--the very best option for customers."

The U.S. produces approximately 1.3 billion gallons of used oil each year, and only 10% of it is re-refined. The overwhelming majority of used oil is either improperly disposed of (damaging the environment) or burned as an industrial fuel and gone forever. Dedicated to reversing this unnecessary waste, Universal Lubricants produces ECO ULTRAŽ recycled products, which when used for an average five quart motor oil change, reduce the national need to import two barrels of imported oil, every time.

"ECO ULTRAŽ empowers consumers and businesses across the Nation to be active stewards of the environment and to promote America's shift towards greater energy security. With one simple and affordable switch to our high quality synthetic blend recycled motor oil, anyone can take a stand against avoidable pollution and foreign oil dependence," said John Wesley, chief executive officer of Universal Lubricants. "Doug Olson's deliberate decision to make a difference and offer ECO ULTRAŽ in turn gives so many others in the Sioux Falls community the opportunity do the same."

Utilizing a tightly controlled closed-loop process, Universal Lubricants collects used motor oil from across the country, processes it through the company's technologically advanced refinery, and then blends the re-refined oil into high quality American Petroleum Institute (API) certified motor oils and lubricants that meet SAE requirements and current vehicle manufacturers' specifications. To ensure performance and reliability, the company's ECO ULTRAŽ products go through rigorous lab testing and are real world proven for the most demanding driving environments.

"At Universal Lubricants we are proud to be a supplier of environmentally-friendly motor oil to an ever-increasing number of dealerships and car service centers around the country, delivering an American solution for our energy and environmental challenges," added Wesley.
