Ford and SunPower Corp. have teamed up to offer an industry-first solar panel system that will allow Focus Electric and C-MAX Energi owners to "Drive Green for Life" by providing them with enough clean, renewable energy to offset the electricity used to charge the car. These high-efficiency solar panels produce an average of 3,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. more...

Mustang makes Sexy Car Buyer's Guide

Two Ford vehicles earn spot on kbb.com Back-to-School list
Ford has a car and a truck on kbb.com's 2011 Top 10 Back-to-School Cars list, a mix of both new and used vehicles. Young drivers love the 2012 Focus, kbb says, because "it looks cool on the outside, modern on the inside, handles with more than a hint of sportiness and offers advanced audio and information technology." Two new V6 engines dominate F-150 sales
With its powerful and fuel-efficient 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, the Ford F-150 EcoBoost outsells all other competitive six-cylinder trucks combined. Another new F-150 engine -- a 3.7-liter V6 -- also outsells all other V6 engines in full-sized trucks from Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge and Toyota. Sales data from J.D. Power and Associates show both new Ford truck engines accounted for 79.5 percent market share of full-sized V6 trucks in July. more...
