Liberty Tire Recycling to Highlight Benefits of Rubberized Asphalt at Southeastern Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Meeting

PITTSBURGH-- Aug. 17, 2011: Pittsburgh-based Liberty Tire Recycling, the premier provider of tire recycling services in the United States, will underscore the features and benefits of rubberized asphalt at the upcoming 2011 Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (SASHTO). The company is serving as an exhibitor at the show (Booth #15), which will take place from August 20-24 at The Galt House Hotel & Suites in Louisville, KY.  More than 1,000 transportation officials will be in attendance to showcase their materials, technology and professional services.

The Southeastern Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (SASHTO) was established to encourage a balanced transportation system across the southeast United States. The departments of transportation from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia are the member states of SASHTO.   The organization works to study the various materials, methods of construction and maintenance, discusses common problems experienced with transportation facilities, and works to exchange ideas and evaluate programs within the aviation, highway, rail, transit and water modes of transportation.
