Fuel Efficient Couple, John and Helen Taylor to Host Media Teleconference Following 48 Contiguous State Record Setting Drive

WHAT:

John and Helen Taylor, known as the world's most fuel efficient couple holding 88 world records, will host a media teleconference following the completion of their record-setting fuel efficiency tour across the 48 contiguous states in Las Vegas on Tuesday, August 23. Since starting their drive on August 1 in Los Angeles, the Taylors have educated motorists about "Smarter Driving" through consumer stops at Shell stations and have shared tips and information through online activities. The official miles per gallon results and information from the drive will be discussed.

As part of the record setting activities, the Taylors have demonstrated that by implementing certain actions and steps today, consumers can increase their vehicle's fuel efficiency without having to wait for the new, government-mandated fuel economy standards that will be put into place for passenger vehicles.
