WUPPERTAL, Germany and ISTANBUL--January 2, 2012:

Production and distribution from one source

HAPPICH OTOMOTIVE is the name of the new HAPPICH subsidiary, which will start its operation at the beginning of the year as a distribution company in Gebze located 100 km east of Istanbul. The leading interior decorator for commercial vehicles is then already taking its second step into the important Turkish bus market. Since the middle of 2011, the Turkish ILERI group - as an official strategic partner - has been producing exclusively HAPPICH products using original HAPPICH tools. In addition to the familiar product quality, the company from Wuppertal also wants to ensure the best possible distribution at the Bosporus.

In the past, bus manufacturers in Turkey had to purchase their HAPPICH products via a distributor, who then ordered the goods from a distribution center in the Czech Republic. Now, however, they are able to obtain their products directly from the Turkish city of Gebze - the location where the HAPPICH locking systems are already being produced in proven quality and where the new distribution company HAPPICH OTOMOTIVE is based. This not only saves distances and time but thanks to the personal contact to competent staff members of HAPPICH OTOMOTIVE, the manufacturer's requirements can be better realized.

The new HAPPICH OTOMOTIVE can fall back on an extensive client base of bus manufacturers including many Turkish but also German companies such as Mercedes Benz or MAN, which produce in the OTOMOTIVE. "We want to continue to maintain our good customer contacts. By being on location, we are able to improve the processes and develop projects together with our customers," says a delighted Yücel Memis, 38, the new Managing Director of the HAPPICH OTOMOTIVE. The German-Turkish Engineer with a Diplom degree in mechanical engineering has been working as a technical manager and project manager for six years for HAPPICH Germany at the headquarters in Wuppertal. Having grown up as the son of Turkish parents in Germany, he is fluent in both languages and familiar with the mentalities of both countries.
