Sage Karam, Team Comfort Revolution, No. 88

Karam was eighth quickest in the first practice session and fifth quickest in the second session.

"Overall, both practice sessions went pretty well, although I would have liked to have been a little better. In the first practice session, we finished eighth. Some of the guys ahead of us put on new tires and we decided not to, so I wasn't too concerned with the performance of the car. In the second session, the car got very loose in turn 13, which hurt our time. I think everything will work out fine. We still have some work to do, but I am really confident in the car and my Andretti Autosport team and I am really looking forward to tomorrow because I know we will be competitive."

Zach Veach, Team Zakosi Data Backup, No. 77

Veach finished the first practice in the 13th position. In practice two, he completed only one lap due to some minor damage to the racecar.

"First, I would like to say that I am really happy to be back at Barber. It is one of the nicer tracks on the schedule for us and the views are amazing. In the first practice session, we never put new tires on like a lot of the other guys, so we ended up thirteenth. I am very confident in the car because we made a few changes. In the second session, we were going to practice more for our qualifying run tomorrow. I pushed a little too hard and ran into some dirt that was on the track, which then ripped the splitter off and unfortunately ended our day. I am really confident in the setup we have on the car for qualifying, so we'll be aiming as high as we can and would definitely like to try and get a top five this weekend. Also, a big thank you to Zakosi Data Backup, Replay XD, Young Marines, Arai, and OMP for making all of this possible for me."
