Service Bulletin Alerts Available for iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®, Android®

ATLANTA--Oct. 17, 2012: Speedemissions, Inc. (OTC.BB SPMI). A new mobile app, CARbonga SRI provides a quick and easy way for consumers to monitor the safety of their vehicle by providing the most current recalls and service bulletins--instantly. CARbonga SRI can even be set up to send "push notifications" which alert users whenever a new service bulletin has been issued for their vehicle.

Vehicle safety recalls can literally mean the difference between life and death. Missing just one Technical Service Bulletin can put drivers and their passengers at dire risk. But unless the vehicle owner is the original purchaser of the vehicle, he or she will not be notified by the dealer who sold the car nor, necessarily, by his or her mechanic the next time they visit the garage for service.

"Anyone who owns a used vehicle, is shopping for a used vehicle--especially on foot--or has lost contact with the auto dealer, would benefit from this app," says Speedemissions President/CEO Rich Parlontieri about CARbonga. "It's mobile, in real time, accurate, instantly accessible and available at your fingertips."

Service bulletins can be accessed by websites such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration but none are instant or have the capability to notify vehicle owners when a new bulletin is issued. Once users enter their vehicle's make, model and year into CARbonga SRI during setup, recall notices can be automatically sent to the user.

Used car dealers can benefit by using CARbonga SRI as an added sales tool by now being able to instantly give any potential buyer technical details whether the specific make or model a customer likes, has had a recall or TSB issues.

CARbonga SRI today works on the iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®, is currently available in the App Store for $1.99 and requires no cable or additional third party hardware to utilize the app. By late-October CARbonga-SRI will be available on the Android smart phones as well.
