Volvo: Changes in Volvo's Group Management

Niklas Gustavsson has been appointed Executive Vice President Public & Environmental Affairs and member of the Volvo Group Executive Team. He will assume his duties on April 1, 2013 and will succeed Jan-Eric Sundgren, who was appointed Senior Expert Adviser to the CEO and senior management.

Niklas Gustavsson, born 1971, has worked within the Volvo Group since 2008 as Head of Public & Environmental Affairs. He has many years' experience in the automotive industry, including responsibility for environmental and social issues within the Volvo Car Group and heading several environment-related automotive projects.

Jan-Eric Sundgren will start as Senior Export Adviser on April 1, 2013, and will thus step down from the Volvo Group Executive Team. He will represent the Volvo Group in several external workgroups and boards, and will also assist the CEO and senior management on issues pertaining to the environment, technology, policies, research and education.

Both Niklas Gustavsson and Jan-Eric Sundgren will report to Volvo's President and CEO, Olof Persson.
