GENEVA – Marc 6, 2013: Andrew Muirhead’s unique brand of low carbon leather makes its motor show debut at Geneva today, showcasing its high performance fine Scottish product on the Morgan Motor Company stand.

Morgan Motor Company and Muirhead have been working together since 2001, with low carbon leather now exclusively specified across the sports car maker’s range. To celebrate the continuing relationship between the two British family-owned businesses, Muirhead has not only provided the leather for all the Morgan cars on display at Geneva, but also the leather on the stand itself, with a range of textures and colours direct from its’ Glasgow headquarters.

In addition, members of the media visiting the Morgan show stand will receive press information on a custom-designed USB car key and low carbon leather fob – also from Muirhead.

Muirhead chairman, Jonathan Muirhead, said: “Morgan is a British motoring icon, and a marque known not only for its sporting performance and classic design, but its fine quality materials too – leather chief amongst them. I am very proud that this leather is an Andrew Muirhead product – high performance, locally sourced, low carbon, and, like Morgan – a British family business.”

Morgan director, Charles Morgan, added: “As ever, we aim to showcase the very best of British at Morgan, and the high performance leather from Muirhead is an excellent example. Leather is an integral part of the Morgan experience, the smell, the feel, the natural look and the quality – Muirhead delivers all this and more, as exhibited here in Geneva. We're proud to have them as our guest supplier on the show stand.”
