NEWPORT BEACH, CA--April 22, 2013: Green Automotive Company announced today that its subsidiary, Newport Coachworks Inc., has completed tooling and is in full production on its ATLAS 34 bus.
Fred Luke, President Green Automotive, stated: "This is a very important milestone for the Company and it's been reached ahead of schedule. For Newport to move into a new manufacturing facility just this last January, and today be completely tooled and in full production on one of its most important vehicle lines is evidence of both good management on behalf of Newport's president, Carter Read, and a lot of hard work. I believe Newport's growth curve is going to accelerate from here forward."
Stated Carter Read, "Bringing our ATLAS 34 bus, which is built on the Ford F-550 platform, into production this quickly is a big success for the Company and, I think indicative of the Company's bright future. What's more, the manufacture of this bus involves the use of advanced proprietary techniques we've developed and utilizes innovative new materials.
