7th International CTI Symposium and Exhibition "Innovative Automotive Transmissions, Hybrid & Electric Drives North America 2013" May 13 to 16, 2013, Rochester, MI

DÜSSELDORF, Germany and ROCHESTER, MI--April 23, 2013:

Automotive experts from the USA, Asia, and Europe will convene, from May 13 to 16, at the 7th International CTI Symposium and Exhibition, "Innovative Automotive Transmissions, Hybrid & Electric Drives North America 2013," in Rochester, MI (Innovative Automotive Transmissions ). At the convention, automotive and transmission manufacturers as well as suppliers will discuss successful strategies and technologies for meeting future legal requirements and achieving optimum fuel efficiency. With more than 40 international expert lectures, the event is offering an expanded program this year, and several new companies will also present their products and services in the accompanying trade exhibition entitled "Transmission Expo."

As a flanking event of the CTI Transmission Symposium in Berlin, where every year far more than 1,000 participants gather, the symposium in Rochester offers information about the latest transmission concepts and current component developments for conventional and alternative drives. It will be chaired by Ernie J. DeVincent, vice president, product development of the GETRAG Corporate Group. All transmission types will be covered, the optimum number of gears will be discussed, and transmission technologies for passenger cars and duty cars will be presented.
