SHANGHAI--May 14, 2013--In this February, as oil price rose in China, private car owners adapted their oil-powered cars into gas-powered, which brought new opportunities to the Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) market.
It is said that there are around 2,500 CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and 800 LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) fueling stations in China now. The exploration and utilization of unconventional gas will further accelerate China's "gasification" process.
The overall development of NGV in China is thriving. However, there still remain some problems and bottlenecks to be solved, such as the currently modest supporting policies, rising natural gas prices and shortage of fueling stations, etc. Under the circumstances, the 2nd China International Natural Gas Vehicle Summit 2013 organized by CBI BIZ will be held on June 25-26 in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
The summit consists of 3 sectors: Macro Policies, NGV and Gas Station. In the Macro Policies sector, professionals will analyze the domestic natural gas market, the supply and demand of alternative vehicle fuels, the fuel-efficient vehicle market and the development of NGV in Shandong, Inner Mongolia and Sichuan, etc. In the NGV sector, the development and planning of NGV, its application and prospects in the logistics industry, the development and technological breakthroughs of natural gas power technology will be discussed. Meanwhile, the layout of LNG filling stations in China, the key technologies of L-CNG gas station and skid-mounted LNG station will be explained in the Gas Station sector. Well-known enterprises will present case studies showing the problems and the solutions in operation.
Petrochina, Sinopec, FAW Group, Dongfeng Auto, Shaanxi Auto Group, Foton, Toyota, Chengdu Bus, Shv Energy China, Xinjiang Guanghui Industry Investment, Enn, Towngas, Eco Shanxi, Westport, Weichai Power and Shanghai Diesel Engine are expected to attend this conference.
