The No. 22 Hertz Ford Mustang And Driver Joey Logano Dominates The Monster Mile

PARK RIDGE, N.J., June 3, 2013 -- In celebration of the No. 22 Hertz Ford Mustang's win at Dover International Speedway, driven by Joey Logano, Hertz is offering NASCAR Race Fans $22 off their next weekly rental with Hertz. Coming in first place, this is Logano's third-consecutive win at the Monster Mile in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and his first Nationwide Series win driving for Penske Racing.

Logano took the lead for the final time following a two-tire pit stop with just 36 laps to go. Over the final run, Logano was able to pull away from the field, earning his first Nationwide Series win of the season. It was Logano's 19th-career Nationwide Series victory and the 199th series victory for Ford Racing.

This is the third consecutive win at Dover for Logano. Logano won both races at the high-banked, mile-long track last season, leading 338 of the 400 laps. On Saturday afternoon, Logano led 66 of the 200 laps. Since making his season - and Penske Racing - debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Talladega Superspeedway, Logano has racked up strong finishes behind the wheel of the No. 22 Ford Mustang and has helped move the No. 22 up in the Owner's Standings from sixth to third since he took over the ride.
