SHORTER, AL--July 18, 2013: Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp. (KS: 018880) has completed the expansion of its automotive climate products manufacturing facility in Shorter, Ala. This expansion adds approximately 30,000 square feet to the existing 260,000 square feet of floor space and boosts the plant's annual capacity to support new business with vehicle manufacturers. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by local government officials, company leaders and plant employees.
This is the second major expansion since Halla Visteon Climate Control Alabama Corp. was established in 2003. The first, in 2007, added nearly 130,000 square feet. Mr. Yoon has extensive global manufacturing leadership experience with the company.
