Bill Jacobs Driving Experience gives Joliet residents opportunity to unleash performance cars

JOLIET, IL--Aug. 16, 2013: Through Hooked on Driving and the Bill Jacobs Driving Experience, Illinois performance car owners have the opportunity to turn their vehicles loose on the Autobahn Country Club track October 7.

This is the fourth consecutive year the Bill Jacobs family of dealerships has teamed up with Hooked on Driving to host the day at the track.

Registration for the event starts at $325; however, if you register though the Bill Jacobs Driving Experience, discount codes are available. That registration fee includes classroom briefings, coaching, lunch, and approximately two hours of track time.

For the safety and benefit of all participants, drivers are grouped by skill and experience to ensure all attendees get the proper training and have the opportunity to safely and comfortably navigate through the challenging course.

The Autobahn Country Club Full Circuit Track is a twisting 3.56-mile, 19-turn course that allows drivers to fully experience the capabilities of their performance cars. With sharp turns, mild curves, and straightaways to drop the pedal, the Joliet course provides thrills for all participants.

The Oct. 7 event benefits the National Corvette Museum, although participants are welcome to bring any car they choose to the event. Drivers must also come with a standard driving helmet or rent one at the course for $20.

Bill Jacobs Auto Group has teamed up with Hooked on Driving on several other occasions for similar events. Although the family of dealerships takes pride in its inventory of high performance vehicles and has been a major proponent of the upcoming seventh generation Corvette, it also offers customers practical vehicles and shopping advantages like Chevy Volt tax rebates and incentives and bad credit auto loans.
