ALEXANDRIA, KY--Aug. 19, 2013: Trying to be all things to all people is among the top ways products of any type fail, short of being a Swiss Army Knife. However, the 2014 Ford Focus is certainly doing its best to fit that bill. The new Focus now available at Mike Castrucci of Alexandria is one of the most flexible and customizable vehicle to ever have rolled off a Ford Motor Company assembly line. Like the versions of the Ford Focus that have come before it, the new Focus can be had in either a five-door hatchback design or a more traditional four-door sedan. Each body style will appeal to someone for their specific needs. Regardless of the one a customer chooses, nobody is being left out in the cold.

Whether someone chooses the sedan or hatchback version of the new 2014 Ford Focus, one of the first things they will surely notice is the excellent and much lauded interior. Several independent reviews have commented extensively on the new Ford Focus' interior elements and design. Almost the entire passenger cabin of the new Ford Focus is covered in premium and soft-touch materials that give the impression of a car with a much more expensive European flavor. Those driving the new Ford Focus for the first time are also in for a treat thanks to the attention paid to the suspension and steering systems that make the new Focus feel like it is on rails, especially in corners.

Base models of the 2014 Ford Focus are powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine with 160-horsepower and an Environmental Protection Agency fuel-economy estimate of nearly 40 miles per gallon on the highway. As for sending power to the wheels, the new Ford Focus is equipped with either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Mike Castrucci of Alexandria also has the 2014 Ford Focus Electric available, that uses no gasoline whatsoever and uses a powerful electric motor to move that has the equivalent of 143-horsepower and range of 76 miles.
