Nissan Sensors Faulty---Issues Massive Recall--Most Recalled Cars are in Japan

recall

Nashville--Sept 26, 2013; Nissan has recalled 908,900 vehicles today for defective accelerator sensors. This defect could cause the engine to stall by making the car slow first and then stop.

The recall affects the Serena minivan, Infiniti M luxury model, X-trail sport utility vehicle and other models, a spokesman for Nissan said. No accidents have been reported so far.

Most of the vehicles being recalled are in Japan. Others are in North America, Europe and Oceania.
