Leading Auto Suppliers Awarded for Outstanding Performance in 2013

HOLLAND, MI--Sept. 27, 2013: Sixteen automotive suppliers were honored by Johnson Controls, a global diversified company in the building and automotive industries, for their leadership and commitment to Johnson Controls' Automotive Experience at the company's North American Interiors Expectations and Awards ceremony. The event was held yesterday at the company's Edgar D. Prince Technical Center in Holland, Mich.

"Recognizing our suppliers for their commitment to quality and outstanding performance is important to Johnson Controls," said James Bos, vice president, Purchasing, Automotive Interiors. "Our success as a global automotive leader would not be possible without their continued support."

Johnson Controls' North American Interiors Awards are presented for top performance in the following key business areas: quality; cost; logistics; development; technology; and service. This year, a commitment to excellence by the company's supply base was recognized on four levels – platinum, gold, silver and bronze.
