LOS ANGELES--Sept. 26, 2013: The Motor Press Guild (MPG), the largest automotive media association in North America, announced today that the organization's annual Track Day will take place at California's historic Willow Springs International Speedway, October 1 and 2.

Located in the high desert of Rosemond, Calif. the track features interesting elevation changes and high average speeds, making it an ideal location for the media to test 93 vehicles from 31 notable nameplates. The 2013 event will allow MPG members to evaluate these new makes and models on a variety of driving courses, including a street course, two off-road courses and Willow Springs' famed Streets of Willow and Big Willow tracks. Members will also have access to driving instructors throughout the day, to ensure safety and to help increase their performance driving skills.

"This event is one of the highlights of our year and provides our members the unique opportunity to test multiple makes and models back-to-back on a safe and challenging driving course," said MPG President, Aaron Gold. "Willow Springs International Speedway is an exceptional track and we're happy to be returning to such a dynamic and historic location for our 2013 Track Day."
