WEST ORANGE, NJ--Oct. 10, 2013: Lincoln Educational Services Corporation , a national leader in specialized technical training and a driving force in helping students turn their passion into professional success, has announced its Nashville Lincoln College of Technology campus has been selected to receive the prestigious School of Excellence title by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

"Our Nashville campus epitomizes what we want each of our campuses to strive for in terms of academic quality, student support, employer relations, and an overall dedication to helping students find quality career opportunities through hands-on training," says Shaun McAlmont, Lincoln's CEO. "From its beginning as Nashville-Auto Diesel College, one of the world's oldest and most prestigious technical institutions, the school has a rich history of excellence in Automotive and Diesel training. Combining that history with Lincoln's resources has helped to create one of the premier locations in the country for training in auto and diesel technology career fields."

The ACCSC School of Excellence award recognizes institutions that are ACCSC-accredited, and that have shown a commitment to delivering quality educational programs. One of the most important qualifiers for the award is a school's record of successful outcomes—as a recipient, Lincoln College of Technology in Nashville has been found to meet or exceed average rates of graduation and employment among all ACCSC-accredited institutions. The campus was honored at ACCSC's 2013 Professional Development Conference September 11-13 in Washington, DC.

"Receiving the ACCSC School of Excellence Award is a remarkable achievement for our campus," says Jim Coakley, President of the Nashville campus. "We always strive to support our students both in and out of the classroom—in their educational pursuits and career goals. Not only are we proud to be an ACCSC-accredited school, but we are honored to be affiliated with an award that represents so much."

Students at the Nashville campus gain hands-on training and experience for careers in Automotive Technology, Diesel and Truck Technology, Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology, and High Performance on a 17-acre campus that features dining halls and dormitory-style residence halls in a true college setting.
