Subaru will donate $250 to the National Park Foundation for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased November 21 – January 2

WASHINGTON--Nov. 25, 2013: The National Park Foundation, the official charity of America's national parks, and Subaru are giving people across the country the opportunity to support their more than 400 national parks.

Through January 2, 2014, Subaru will donate up to $10 million to charitable partners during its sixth annual "Share the Love" event. For every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased, Subaru will donate $250 to the National Park Foundation when the customer selects the National Park Foundation as the charity of choice.

This annual campaign comes at the perfect time when Subaru is introducing its first hybrid vehicle, the XV Crosstrek Hybrid, allowing consumers to tread lightly on endless "I Heart Parks" road trip adventures.

Last year, Subaru donated $5 million to "Share the Love" charities and over the course of the five-year program, Subaru has donated a total of $25 million. The sales growth experienced by the brand in recent years means that by continuing to donate $250 per vehicle sold during the program, total charitable contributions will likewise increase, this year up to $10 million.
