RIVERSIDE, CA--Dec. 23, 2013: Green Automotive Company’s (OTCQB: GACR), CEO, Ian Hobday, is highlighting the major achievements of the company in 2013 as the year draws to a close. Green Automotive acquired Newport Coachworks in late 2012 and opened the doors to its factory in February this year. “Right now we're building bus number 41, which is an incredible achievement by Carter Read and his team. Most of the buses we've built have been pre-sold and we continue to ramp up production having recently commissioned our new CNC machine. This takes out 90 hours of labour per week from our processes!”

“We continue to explore consolidation opportunities in the emerging EV sector and it is here that the experience of our CFO Darren West has been invaluable.”

“In Europe our Liberty EV business, which is over 7 years old (and ancient by EV standards) continues to grow. Having been involved in this business since day 1, originally as an investor, I've seen it grow from a powerpoint presentation into one of the leading EV technology businesses: From building the world’s first electric 4x4, the zero emission Range Rover, we continue to participate in major projects from the European Union such as the Epsilon contract which we recently added to our Motore and Deliver projects. Working in partnership with major players in the automotive sector such as Volkswagen, Fiat, Michelin this keeps us at the forefront of next generation EV developments. In addition, our team has developed specific expertise in refurbishing EV batteries, essential to extend the working life of electric vehicles.”

“Our Goingreen business which looks after over 1000 electric vehicles in and around London, continued to generate sales of used versions of the ever popular G-Wiz, whilst recently adding the amazing Mia electric city car to its portfolio of electric bikes, vans and trucks. We've already sold the first 10 Mia's and they arrived on a delivery truck from the manufacturer on the 19th December - Nice Christmas presents for some lucky new owners!”

“We continue to explore consolidation opportunities in the emerging EV sector and it is here that the experience of our CFO Darren West has been invaluable.”

“With the development of our first electric shuttle bus well underway at Newport Coachworks and plans for the launch at the Las Vegas show in February, we have built a solid foundation for our company in 2013, that we expect to be followed by strong growth throughout 2014. All of this has only been possible thanks to the support of our shareholders and investors and we thank them for their continued loyalty.
