Glamorous Porsche Sports Cars on Display during Critics' Choice Movie Awards

LOS ANGELES--Jan. 15, 2014: Hollywood is revved up for the 19th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards, where Porsche Cars North America, Inc., the exclusive importer of Porsche vehicles in the U.S., will showcase two of their signature star rides. The Porsche 911 and Panamera S E-Hybrid will make their red carpet debuts at the ceremony, broadcast live January 16 on the CW network.

"From multi-year partnerships with marquee concert venues in our North American hometown of Atlanta to the 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards, Porsche is a proud supporter of arts and entertainment in the communities where our customers live," said Detlev von Platen, president and CEO, Porsche Cars North America. "Tomorrow night will be no exception, as the finest in film will mingle with the finest of cars on the red carpet."

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) honor winners for cinematic excellence in 28 categories. Sam Rubin and Jessica Holmes from the Los Angeles CW affiliate, KTLA-TV, will launch pre-show coverage by interviewing members of the Porsche Cars North America, Inc. team about the vehicles, fit for any Hollywood star.

"Since the 911 debuted on U.S. soil 50 years ago, Porsche has integrated its iconic brand into cinema. As we celebrate the best films of 2013, it only makes sense to integrate our models premiering in 2014," continued von Platen.
