MARANELLO, ITALY – Jan 16, 2014: Over 5,300 graduates from 23 different countries, from Brazil to Australia, China to Germany, from the United States to Great Britain, as well as Italy of course, have been trying to demonstrate they have the F-Factor, which could make them special enough to be given the opportunity of expressing their talent at Ferrari, a company that symbolises excellence.

Over the past few weeks there have been 5,300 requests to take part in the Ferrari Graduate Programme, coming from prestigious seats of learning such as Oxford University, the MIT in Boston, Stanford University, Imperial College and the London Business School, Beijing’s Tsinghua, the Paris, Milan and Turin Polytechnics, as well as the one in Modena which has the longest ties to the Prancing Horse and many others besides.

The programme offers five talented individuals, the ones who graduated with the highest marks, to show off their abilities within the company, thanks to a contract that will run for an unspecified length of time, preceded by a six-month internship.

After a rigorous selection process, it’s time for the key phase, which comes to an end on 22 January. Only 96 participants have got through to the individual interviews, which take place on line. Naturally, the interviews go over their formative years and academic achievements, but they are also aimed at singling out their ability to innovate and to resolve technical and managerial challenges, vital for anyone who wants to work for a company like Ferrari that represents excellence and the avant-garde.

The best candidates will be invited to Maranello to tackle the final step in the selection process: this February, there will be a two-day evaluation run over four separate phases, before the course starts in April.

Interest, enthusiasm, excellent levels of academic preparation and a willingness to contribute in a competitive and multicultural environment: these are just some of the qualities common to all the candidates, along with the passion and excellence that always go arm in arm when one talks about Ferrari.
