OAKLAND, CA--Jan. 17, 2014: Pandora , the leading internet radio service, today announced the addition of Chrysler as the 25th major automotive brand to join its extensive partner roster. Pandora will be available on the all new 2015MY Chrysler 200, through the vehicle’s Uconnect Access Via Mobile service, debuted by Chrysler Group at the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit. Pandora is also available in other vehicles made by brands owned by Chrysler Group, including the 2014 Dodge Durango, 2014 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, 2013 & 2014 Ram 1500 and SRT Viper.

Pandora Chief Marketing Officer, Simon Fleming-Wood, said, “Nearly half of all radio listening takes place in the car and we're honored that Chrysler elected to feature Pandora on the launch of the all new 2015MY Chrysler 200 vehicle. We are excited to welcome new automotive brand partners like Chrysler who make it possible for listeners to enjoy their personalized radio stations while on-the-road and help build our potential audience for advertisers to reach consumers where they are most likely to enjoy radio.”

Through the connectivity of a smartphone, Chrysler’s Uconnect Access Via Mobile service transfers popular controls of Pandora, like station selection and thumbs feedback, from mobile devices into the Uconnect system’s 8.4-inch touchscreen display, so listening to personalized radio in the car is as easy as AM/FM radio. Pandora recently announced more than 4 million unique users have activated the popular personalized radio service through a native automotive integration at the 2014 International CES in Las Vegas last week.
