Ally's Relationship Management Center Launches Preapproval Option

ally

DETROIT--Jan. 23, 2014: Ally's Relationship Management Center (RMC) has launched a new feature that gives auto dealers the ability to send customers firm offers of credit.

The RMC is an online lead generation platform that enables dealers to create and send high-quality direct marketing campaigns quickly and affordably with a few clicks of the mouse. With the RMC's new preapproval capability, dealers can submit lists of customers for preapproval and then send those customers specially targeted offers of credit. The preapproval campaigns can be big or small and sent out as frequently as dealers prefer.

"We believe it's a game changer," said Kathy Ruble, vice president of sales for Ally's Dealership Online Services. "Previously, preapproval campaigns were often expensive, cumbersome and usually tied to special events that dealers could only do occasionally. The RMC gives dealers the flexibility to decide who they want to target at a schedule that works best for them and their businesses."

Using the RMC, dealers can sort customer lists into specific groups they want to target, such as those whose leases are set to end or all owners of a specific vehicle brand. Once a list of customers has been submitted, the RMC's preapproval feature allows dealers to find out which customers have been preapproved by the next business day. The RMC then sends those customers direct mail campaigns on behalf of the dealer providing a firm offer of credit from Ally. The offer of credit is good for 60 days.

"The ability to target preapproved customers directly so quickly is a significant offering to our dealers that provides tremendous value and one that we believe sets us apart from the competition," Ruble said.

Dealers who have tested the RMC and its preapproval feature find it easy to use and say it helps business. "The preapproval process works with our own CRM (customer relationship management) tool,'' said Nicole Tournaud, senior business development manager at LaFontaine Automotive Group in Detroit. "Navigating through it is simple and lets us really target the customers we want to reach. The quality of the marketing material is outstanding and includes attractive photos of our products and even a map of our location."

Ally's RMC offers dealers several additional benefits:

Free email campaigns with introductory subscription Various campaign assets and sizes to choose from Ability to set and manage budgets, customer lists and marketing campaigns for multiple dealerships in one location
