NEW ORLEANS--Jan. 27, 2014: DMEautomotive (DMEa), the science-inspired, results-based automotive marketing leader, today announced that its groundbreaking mobile app for dealerships, Driver Connect 2.5, was presented with an Automotive Website Award from PCG Consulting in the Automotive Mobile Apps Category at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Conference in New Orleans. This is the third award Driver Connect has received for innovating the mobile experience for the auto industry.

The Automotive Website Awards team praised Driver Connect for its well-designed features and ability to increase customer retention. The Automotive Website Awards are presented each year by PCG Consulting to recognize the best design, technology and search architecture for automotive website platforms each year.

Built from the ground up by DMEautomotive, the dealer-branded, consumer-facing app keeps dealership customers close – and servicing and spending - by delivering a personal, in-dealership experience wherever customers are, keeping them informed about service as it happens, as well as providing 'whenever-they-need-it' chat assistance. The app marries cool, truly useful and personalized automotive tools for customers, with features like "one-tap" service appointment scheduling, robust new and used inventory search, and super-targeted offers tied to specific vehicles.

"DMEa is honored to receive the Automotive Website Award for Driver Connect 2.5," said DMEautomotive CEO Mike Walther. "Since the mobile revolution started to impact our industry, DMEa has been committed to making it easy for dealerships to bridge the gap between the new mobile savvy customer and the on-the-ground realities of today's dealerships. Reaching and retaining dealership customers efficiently, effectively and with relevance is DMEa's mission, and we are proud that Driver Connect 2.5 is doing just that, while also helping to raise awareness across our industry of the critical importance of adopting mobile channels."

Since 2012, Driver Connect has helped hundreds of dealerships keep pace with the new, "mobile-first," consumer realities and continues to push the limits of mobile innovation for the automotive industry, implementing emerging mobile channels like the mobile wallet and incorporating geo-fencing, to drive more traffic and deeper customer engagement for dealers, finding total customer retention. DMEa's app has been adopted by some of the largest dealer groups across the nation, and this year won the prestigious American Business Award and the 2013 BizTech Innovation AwardŽ.

DMEautomotive will be demonstrating Driver Connect 2.5 at the 2014 National Automobile Dealers Association Convention and Expo January 25th – January 27th at Booth #6827.
