ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ--Jan. 28, 2014: Continuing a tradition which began in 2007 and continued last year with the all new 2014 Quattroporte GTS, Maserati has again brought Italian flair and desire to The Naples Winter Wine Festival. A 2014 GranTurismo Convertible Sport fitted in red with a light 'bianco pregiato' interior was offered via raffle, netting $456,000 in purchased tickets for the chance to take the stunning red over tan four seat convertible home.

Maserati has on many occasions brought Italian design, style, luxury and performance to this event, which benefits underprivileged and at-risk children in Collier County, Fla., through the Naples Children & Education Foundation. The foundation has provided grants to 36 children's charities and funds long-term strategic initiatives focused on children's early learning, medical/oral health, out-of-school programs, behavioral health and childhood hunger.

According to Andrea Soriani, Director of Marketing and Communications for Maserati North America Inc., "The Naples Winter Wine Festival is an event for those who appreciate true sophistication. We are proud to continue our ongoing partnership with this world-class Festival, while helping to make a difference to those involved with the Naples Children & Education Foundation."

About the GranTurismo Convertible Sport In 2010, Maserati introduced the first four-seat convertible in the company's 97 year history: the GranTurismo Convertible, an immensely solid and spacious machine - with 4.7 liters of V-8 power and a high level of equipment. Given intense customer interest in an even more sport-oriented version –Maserati upped the ante with the GranTurismo Convertible Sport.

The performance and driving dynamics of the Convertible Sport are enhanced through major upgrades to everything that touches the driver. From the changes to the standard adaptive Sport Skyhook suspension to the MC Shift automatic with rev-matched downshifting heard via the sport exhaust system and aerodynamic-improving exterior changes, the GT Convertible Sport offers the sharpest performing version convertible for the driving enthusiast with the ability for three passengers to partake in the excitement.
