F-Factor Final Is Underway

MARANELLO, ITALY – Jan 30, 2014: There are thirty finalists in the fifth edition of the Ferrari Graduate, the programme set up by the Human Resources Department to discover talented youngsters from all over the world and put them to work for the company.

The process that will lead to the selection of the five deemed to have the F-Factor, which will allow them to demonstrate their abilities in the environment of a company that is a symbol of excellence throughout the world, began four months ago. Back then, 5300 candidates were taken on from 23 countries and from the most prestigious universities. From here, only 96 went on to the individual interview stage, which took place on-line.

Now it's time for the decisive challenge. This week, the magnificent thirty are in Maranello to tackle the final stage of the selection process. Two days of evaluation are split into four phases from which will emerge the five winners, from nine countries represented: while naturally enough Italy has the lion’s share with 19 finalists, there are three from Germany, two from France and one each from Albania, Ireland, Russia, Serbia, Spain and the USA. The number of universities from which they come is also a sign of how the Italian students have enriched their university education with outside experience.

From A for Aachen to V for Vancouver, via Miami, Frankfurt, Shanghai, Montreal, Rotterdam, Cambridge, Peking, Oxford, Turin, Madrid, Milan and Paris, with many of the best universities in the world educating the finalists.

The five winners will get the opportunity to show what they can do within the company thanks to a contract of indeterminate duration, preceded by a learning term that gets underway next April.
