TORRANCE, CA--Feb. 13, 2014: Acura has been awarded the highest ranking in the semiannual J.D. Power Manufacturer Website Evaluation StudySM - Winter, a leading examination of automotive manufacturer websites. This is Acura's second consecutive highest ranking in manufacturer website satisfaction from J.D. Power.

Now in its 15th year, the J.D. Power Manufacturer Website Evaluation StudySM – Winter examines the features and content of automotive manufacturer websites that shoppers find useful and engaging when shopping online for a new vehicle. The study looks at four key measures: information/content, navigation, appearance, and speed.

"Creating a premium experience for our customers has always been a top priority for Acura, whether in our dealerships or online, and we're excited to have this recognized by J.D. Power for a second consecutive time," said John Watts, Senior Manager at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. "We constantly refine the design and function of our Acura website to ensure that consumers are getting the information they want, when and how they want it. Of course, we would like to thank our digital agency, Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM), for their eighteen years of support and for making the Acura website a great success."

This year's study is based on responses from 9,469 new-vehicle shoppers who indicate they will be in the market for a new vehicle within the next 24 months. The study was fielded November 7, 2013, through December 4, 2013. Respondents ranked Acura highest, with a score of 859 out of 1,000. Comparatively, overall satisfaction with automotive brand websites averaged 822. Additional information about the J.D.
