Range Ts and Archer's Transport

March 8, 2014: Premier distribution specialists, Archer’s Transport, whose company maxim is ‘Strength through Diversity’, has taken delivery of the first two Renault Range T460.26 6x2 tractor units to join its immaculately presented fleet. Supplied by Renault Trucks dealer, Allports Truck Centre in Lichfield, the Range Ts are in Archer’s Transport’s striking Nissan red and limestone livery, with paintwork undertaken by the company’s in-house paint shop to exacting standards.

The Range Ts, the first Renaults in Archer’s Transport’s Scania-dominated fleet of 40 trucks and 90 trailers, went on the road in February working on a wide range of general haulage contracts across the UK for diverse blue chip customers. A FORS registered operator, Archer’s Transport is committed to vehicle safety and both Range Ts are fitted with front and side-facing blind spot cameras together with alarm system for safer driving on city roads in close proximity to pedestrians and cyclists.

Commenting on the decision to select the company’s first Renault Range Ts, Managing Director, Paul Archer, says: “Renault Trucks are very good on fuel, which is important for the business and the Range Ts are doing well.”
