Indications are Strong for Big New York Auto Show

NEW YORK--April 4, 2014: The New York International Automobile Show announced today that with four weeks to go before the opening of North America's first and largest-attended auto show, early indications point to an even bigger Show in 2014. The Show will run from April 18 - 27 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Press Preview days are April 16 & 17.
Online media registration--which opened in January--is up 10% compared to the same period last year, while press conference requests and scheduled world and North American debuts are also up versus 2013.
"We're beginning to see tremendous momentum that suggests this spring's Show is going to be huge," said Show Chairman, John LaSorsa.
"These early indicators combined with incredible investments by the OEMs in impressive new displays and strong auto sales tells us that the industry, the media and consumers are excited to get out there and see what's coming."
"And the New York Auto Show is the perfect place for people to experience every make and model available, under one roof, in an entertaining, fun and relaxed environment," LaSorsa continued.
