BT Fleet orders 242 efficient new Vauxhalls

New models will help lower BT Fleet’s average CO2 emissions Lower costs for drivers through reduced BiK taxation

Luton--May 2, 2014: One of the world’s leading communications services companies, BT, has once again turned to Vauxhall and its solid reputation for reliability, value and durability by ordering a further 242 vehicles in addition to the 692 vehicles Vauxhall supplied in 2013.

The deal largely consists of the new Insignia, powered by the 2.0CDTi 140PS engine that uses Vauxhall’s award-winning ecoFLEX technology. The Insignias, which have been specified in Design trim, achieve an impressive combined fuel consumption of 76.3mpg and have CO2 emissions of just 98g/km, with attractive whole-life costs and low benefit-in-kind taxation for company car drivers.

Alongside the Insignias, the rest of the fleet will be made up of a mixture of Corsas powered by the 1.3CDTi 95PS ecoFLEX engine, the Astra Hatch and the British-built Astra Sports Tourer – giving BT Fleet’s drivers a wide choice of vehicles. The Astra variants will be powered by either the 1.3CDTi 95PS engine with a combined fuel consumption of 68.9mpg, or the 1.7CDTi 110PS engine with a combined fuel consumption of an equally competitive 62.8mpg.
