Luton--June 16, 2014: Vauxhall has delivered 88 of its vans to Konecranes in a deal which includes its multi-award winning Combo, as well as its British-built Vivaro.

The world-leading lifting equipment and services provider has taken delivery of the 88 Vauxhall vehicles, the majority of which are the L1H1 Combo vans or L1H1 Vivaro panel vans.

The Combos are fitted with the 1.3CDTi ecoFLEX engine with Start/Stop, delivering an impressive 58.9mpg, helping to keep Konecranes’ fleet-average emissions low and its efficiency high.

Fitted with the Euro 5-compliant 2.0CDTi 115PS engine, the Vivaros also offer both performance and fuel economy, while providing large and versatile storage capabilities. To further enhance vehicle usability for Konecranes, the vans have been modified by in-vehicle workshop conversion specialist, the Bott Group.

Business development manager at Bott, Darren Cooper, said: “We have tailor-made a number of storage solutions for Konecranes as part of this order. For each vehicle, we were tasked with utilising all of the space the vans have to offer, while also meeting the demands of the team who will be using these vehicles as part of their daily duties.”

Konecranes will be using the vans across a number of areas in its wide-reaching business operations, demanding the best balance of performance, economy and reliability.

National Commercial Vehicle and B2B Sales Manager at Vauxhall, Richard Collier, said: “These vans will help Konecranes across many areas of its business and highlights the versatility across the Vauxhall commercial vehicle range. The combination of our two best-selling commercial vehicles will provide Konecranes with a high-performing, reliable and efficient fleet.”
