NEW YORK - September 19, 2014: PUMP, the latest documentary feature film from Joshua Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell, makes its long awaited premiere this today in New York and Los Angeles. A selected-cities national run begins next week.

Narrated by Jason Bateman, PUMP is an inspiring, eye-opening documentary that tells the story of America’s addiction to oil, from its corporate conspiracy beginnings to its current monopoly today, and explains clearly and simply how we can end it – and finally win choice at the pump.

The film features notable experts such as David Blume, author of "Alcohol Can Be A Gas;" Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors; and Peter Goldmark, former president of the Rockefeller Foundation. Today oil is our only option of transportation fuel at the pump. Our exclusive use of it has drained our wallets, increased air pollution and sent our sons and daughters to war in faraway lands. PUMP shows us how through the use of a variety of replacement fuels, we will be able to fill up our cars – cheaper, cleaner and American made - and in the process, create more jobs for a stronger, healthier economy.
