The 44th Tokyo Motor Show: Doors Open October 29, 2015 at Tokyo Big Sight

The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) enjoys mutually cooperative relationships with other major motor shows around the world. On occasion, we share resources and promotional ideas, and provide communications assistance. In the spirit of cooperation, we are pleased to distribute the following news from the Tokyo Motor Show to the NAIAS Media Database.

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (Chairman: Fumihiko Ike) has announced the dates for the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015, to be held October 29 - November 8, 2015, at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo).

The 44th Tokyo Motor Show will officially open on October 29 with a new Preview Day offering limited attendance from 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The show will be open to the general public for ten consecutive days starting from 12:30 pm on October 30, one day earlier than the usual Saturday general public opening day, to enable greater accessibility to visitors.

The dates for the 2015 show return the Tokyo Motor Show to its late-October time frame, traditional since the 2009 show, to avoid an overlap with motor shows in Los Angeles and in Guangzhou, China.

The 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015 will be a comprehensive show that includes passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, carrozzeria, vehicle bodies, parts, machinery and tools, as well as automobile-related services.

The call for exhibitors is scheduled to start on October 6, 2014, and end on January 16, 2015.
