FARMINGTON HILLS, MI -- Aug. 8, 2014: The Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America, in conjunction with Acura/Honda, is pleased to announce its ELS Studio Premium Audio System, tuned by Elliot "ELS" Scheiner, will be available on the all-new 2015 Acura TLX. The system will be available on all TLX models equipped with the Technology Package or Advance Package.

Scheiner, working with Acura and Panasonic engineers, tuned the system specifically for the interior of the TLX Performance Luxury Sedan. The system was developed with the goals of achieving extended frequency range, lower distortion, enhanced clarity and transparency to create a studio-like audio experience for the TLX.

Personally involved in each phase of development, Scheiner utilized his more than 40 years of expertise as a professional recording engineer and producer to tune the ELS Studio Premium Audio system to the TLX's acoustic environment.

"Having spent thousands of hours in recording studios helps to translate the studio feeling and emotion to give users the ultimate automotive listening experience," said Scheiner, the multi-Grammy® Award-winning producer/engineer. "Developing an ELS system specifically tuned to the individual interior of a car takes hours and hours of listening and adjusting. In the end, by tuning the in-vehicle system hardware using the studio as our reference we have been able to give listeners an up close studio feeling and experience in the TLX."

Each system features a new, high-performance amplifier that provides powerful and accurate midrange and high-frequency response with increased clarity. The TLX-ELS Studio Premium Audio System's 10 speakers create a dynamic listening experience for all seating positions.
