MIAMI BEACH, FL -- Aug. 28, 2014: Car Charging Group, Inc. (OTCQB: CCGI) ("CarCharging"), the leading provider, owner, and operator of electric vehicle (EV) charging services, is pleased to announce that it has established a partnership with Alco Parking, Pittsburgh's leading parking management firm, and now provides EV charging at SouthSide Works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. SouthSide Works is an open-air retail, office, entertainment, and residential complex located between 26th Street and Hot Metal Street.

As noted by its name, SouthSide Works is positioned on the south side of Pittsburgh and is just across from the Monongahela River, the Pittsburgh Technology Center, and the University of Pittsburgh. The property features retailers, restaurants, and a variety of professional services. The property's parking facilities are managed by Alco Parking and have 2300 total parking spaces. The onsite EV charging services are available at the Furnace Garage located on 536 South 28th Street.

"In our experience managing thousands of EV charging locations nationwide, we have determined that mixed-use and retail locations have proven to be very successful for EV charging," said Michael D. Farkas, Chief Executive Officer for CarCharging. "EV drivers appreciate the opportunity to park and charge while visiting these types of properties, and the site owners benefit from increased traffic and revenue."

"As the parking manager, we are always exploring to expand the services for our clients as well as drivers," said Merrill Stabile, President of Alco Parking. "We are excited to partner with CarCharging to offer EV charging at SouthSide to support EV drivers and offer our client a new potential revenue stream."

The Blink Level II chargers at SouthSide Works are able to rapidly recharge electric cars, and accept payment with the Blink InCard or major credit card via the Blink mobile application, Blink Network website, or Blink Customer Support center. Blink's InCard provides drivers with discounted charging fees for charging stations on the Blink Network, the software that operates, monitors, and tracks the Blink stations and all of its charging data. Drivers can easily request Blink's InCard at Blink Network and can pinpoint EV charging station locations using the map on the website, as well as the Blink and CarCharging mobile applications.
