A trivia buff at heart, Eliot had contracts The Aaron Association with Martin Motorsports which is under the ownership of Pro Modified Racer and inventor Harold Martin. In this automotive environment, we discuss technology standards, techniques and information. The idea of a trivia book and contest came from researching information on engine preparation and from the H.O. slot car drag racing club called The San Juan Dragway in which Eliot is the track manager. We would race our events and have automotive trivia questions to see who knew the answers. Automotive Questions & Answers was then formed and contains 4 sections, American Auto History, Drag Racing History, NASCAR History and Harley Davidson History.

We have written this book to put a few people to work and to generate finances to build the race car of Eliot’s dream, a 1966 Chevrolet Corvair to race in the NHRA, IHRA, Super Chevy and other sportsman series of drag racing and to show at car show events with 10% of the proceeds being donated to youth mentoring, team building and positive skills in the City of Detroit.
