Land Rover Marks its Tenth Year of Partnership with Burghley Horse Trials

Land Rover will mark its tenth year of title sponsorship at this year’s Burghley Horse Trials The New Discovery Sport will be on display as part of the cross country course Land Rover owners are invited to join television chef James Martin in the Land Rover Owners’ Hospitality on Thursday 4th September, to try his ultimate Burghley Burger The famous Land Rover Tailgate Picnic competition will be taking place again this year on Saturday 6th September from 1330-1430 in the reserved parking area and judged by Land Rover ambassador Zara Phillips and television presenter Matt Baker WHITLEY, Tuesday 2nd September - This year’s Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is a very special one for Land Rover as it marks the tenth year of title sponsorship of the prestigious event; the pinnacle of Land Rover’s commitment to equestrian sport in the UK.

AUTO CENTRAL, UK -- September 3, 2014: To mark the occasion, Land Rover’s presence at the event is bigger than ever with highlights spread across the duration of the competition.

On Thursday 4th September television chef James Martin will be joining guests in the Land Rover Owners’ Hospitality area and creating his ultimate Burghley Burger for guests to sample. Owners can taste the exclusive creation from 1200-1300 and media are invited to do the same from 1400-1500. To enter the hospitality area near the cross country course, all people have to do is show their Land Rover key fob.

On Saturday 6th September from 1330-1430, the famous Land Rover Tailgate Picnic competition returns to Burghley in the reserved parking area. This is a chance for guests attending the trials to showcase their best alfresco meal as has become a tradition using Land Rover vehicle tailgates.

Judging the entries will be Land Rover ambassador Zara Phillips and television presenter Matt Baker. The winner stands to win a Land Rover Driving Experience, to be redeemed at a Land Rover Experience Centre of their choice.
