Ferrari Apprentices Graduate to Ferrari Service Technicians

ferrari

LONDON -- September 15, 2014: – Ferrari North Europe is honoured to welcome 10 new Ferrari Technicians to the official Ferrari dealer network, all of whom have recently completed a 3-year Ferrari Apprenticeship. With a 100% conversion ratio from Apprenticeships into full-time employment, this reinforces Ferrari’s belief that Apprenticeships are now the de facto route into becoming a Ferrari Service Technician.

Ferrari North Europe first introduced the in-house Apprenticeship scheme in September 2011, and the company invested heavily in new classroom facilities, IT equipment, personnel and previous Ferrari cars in order to deliver on its promise to create the next generation of Ferrari Service Technicians. The Ferrari Apprentice scheme is open to school-leavers aged 16-19, and over 1,000 people apply each year for one of the very limited places available.

During their Apprenticeship, the successful candidates receive 24 weeks of classroom and workshop training at Ferrari North Europe’s head office near London, with hands-on practical training alongside an experienced Ferrari technician in a service department during the rest of the 3-year programme.

Francesco Balli, Regional Manager for Ferrari North Europe commented: “It is truly an honour and a privilege to welcome these bright young Apprentices into the Ferrari family as a fully-qualified Service Technician. Their passion and enthusiasm for the brand, and their capacity for learning new technology, really encapsulates why Ferrari remains such a powerful and aspirational brand. It is incredibly rewarding to see the investment Ferrari has made in the Apprenticeship programme deliver such outstanding Service Technicians – they represent the future for Ferrari.”

. Although entries for the September 2015 intake have now closed, the process for the September 2016 instake starts early in 2016, so applicants are advised to register their interest via the website before the end of 2015.
