AUBURN HILLS, MI -- January 14, 2016:

WHAT: The Chrysler brand will debut its "Pacifica Play Zone" at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit from Saturday, January 16 through Sunday, January 24

To celebrate the reveal of the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan, the Chrysler brand invites guests to visit its inaugural Pacifica Play Zone at the FCA booth at NAIAS in Detroit from Saturday, January 16 through Sunday, January 24. Located on the upper level overlooking the FCA booth, the Pacifica Play Zone invites parents and their children to interact with the features of the minivan through immersive experiences, including the Uconnect Game Center, which creates a larger-than-life interactive experience across multiple 65-inch touch screens. Visitors can play games and compete against one another for prizes, including the "Stow 'n Go Showdown," in addition to learning about the science of hybrid technology from representatives of the Michigan Science Center. A 360-degree photo opp gives every family the chance to take a picture of themselves in the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica against one of three selected backgrounds, including a moonscape. The Exterior Design Center invites adults and children to color and stylize their own image of the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacific and share their own creation via social media. With comfortable seating, parents can connect their mobile devices in the Recharge Lounge while their children participate in hands-on experiments that allow them to design their own wind turbines and electronic building blocks/circuits using littleBits as they connect motors, wheels, lights and switches.

*The space features a Graffiti Wall painted by local Detroit artist Shades (on site Saturday, January 16 only) and will feature live music (Saturday, January 16 only) from the children's musical act Beat Buds.

WHERE: Cobo Center; 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226

WHEN: Saturday, January 16 through Sunday, January 24

WHY: To provide a unique spot on the floor of the Detroit Auto Show for parents and their children to interact together and to celebrate the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica
