Commercial Vehicle Group earns recognition as John Deere "Partner-level Supplier"

NEW ALBANY, Ohio, Jan. 4, 2017 -- Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (the "Company") a leading supplier of fully-integrated system solutions for the global commercial vehicle market, today announced that its wire harness facility, CVG-Mexico in Agua Prieta, has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2016 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company's highest supplier rating. The New Albany, Ohio-based company was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement, and has received Partner-level and Supplier of the Year awards in the past from John Deere.

CVG-Mexico, a manufacturer and service provider of highly complex and customized wire harnesses for critical applications, has nearly 3,000 employees and 230,000 square feet at two facilities in Agua Prieta, Mexico, and is a supplier of wire harnesses to John Deere's operations in Dubuque and Davenport Iowa.

Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
