ROME - July 22, 2018; Italian newspaper La Stampa reported that at the Zurich hospital where Marchionne is in Intensive Care unexpected complications during post-operative convalescence worsened further in the last hours

Marchionne entered the hospital in June for routine surgery on his right shoulder

In fact in the hospital five days after his admission he had confirmed his appointments for the beginning of July.

But since June 27, the CEO of FCA Sergio Marchionne has not left the University Hospital located on a hill not far from the center of Zurich.

Although Marchionne entered the hospital in June for routine surgery on his right shoulder, recent unconfirmed rumors speak of serious incurable cancer.
