Discount Auto Parts Renews Title Sponsorship of NASCAR Dash Series Auto Race at Speedweeks


    LAKELAND, Fla.--Feb. 12, 1999--Discount Auto Parts announced it will renew its title sponsorship of the NASCAR Dash Series race during Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway.
    Discount Auto Parts has sponsored the Dash Series race for the past two years and its name will again lead the 2000 and 2001 events. Next Year's Discount Auto Parts 200 auto race is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2000.
    "As part of our ongoing commitment to the auto racing community, we value our relationship with the International Speedway Corp., and we are excited about continuing our sponsorship," said Steve Joiner, vice president of marketing. "It's a win-win partnership."
    The sponsorship offers Discount Auto Parts several benefits, including event tickets, signage, a pace car decorated with the Discount Auto Parts name and proprietary design, public address announcements, event logo integration in Victory Lane and on the starter-bridge, and a four-color advertisement in Speedweeks souvenir event program.
