Novel Invention Inexpensively Secures Cargo in Pickup Trucks

An anchor is simply dropped into the gap between a pickup's opened tailgate and the truck bed - every modern pickup has this pinch point. When the tailgate is closed, the anchor is captured. Variously, anchors may be attached to cargo straps, a cargo net, a tie-down or a cargo box. Installation and removal are simple and instantaneous. This technique simply and cheaply solves the problem of shifting loads that expensive bedliners and such attempt to solve. Currently production is limited to the tailgate anchored cargo strap - other products await release. Cooler crashes are expensive and gas can spills are dangerous. The tailgate anchored cargo strap is the quickest, easiest way to safely secure coolers, gas cans, toolboxes, step ladders, et cetera. The device prevents shifting and protects truck bed from dents & scratches. It is especially useful when using a camper top since loads cannot slide to the front of the truck bed.
